I sorta applied what I've been reading of Marx to Environmentalism

The sundered shards
Of a shattered land
Efface and Discard
The kingdoms of man

As seers divine
A conclusion most grim
The light of time
Now rapidly dims

What was once a reliable flow
Now an ebbing trickle
What was once worthy to know
Now a murdering sickle

Once a paragon of luminosity and life
Now a burning monstrosity of strife
Once serving to illuminate
Now shines doom-ed fate

Artifices of vile perversion
All natures now writhes
A twisted inversion
As humanity cries

We have sundered to shards
A once complete land
For we have effaced and discarded
The kingdoms we built, the kingdoms of man
