Ennui (with blues overtones)

Ennui, Ennui
I rue the day I meet with thee
My heart afire with wholesome wanderlust
While my soul collects the falling dust
Silence and Solitude
Echo in my my ears, my attitude
Pardon me, for it's today I've rued

Ennui, Ennui
The devil used your idle fist
The day I rue follows the clock on my wrist
Perhaps I'll go to the Red House
Where my baby stay
But no more, the rents never paid
Key won't unlock the door
Now my baby nothing but a whore

Ennui, Ennui
Never shall I rue the day I meet with thee
Might as well take another pill
Cuz if my baby don't want me no more, I'll take another swill.
