Equinox

The equinox vernal,
Now I'm diurnal
the active days against former nights hibernal
Around spin cycle eternal
Like a journal pages slowly turn all
Knight by night nocturnal
From white nights of obsidian
To days of viridian
I've traveled marginal meridian
I burst prime time, Euclidean
Rhyme lines, O sacrum convivium
Primavera, Palestrinian
In bloom from past somnolence
Blooming in forest colored opulence
Jade joyous forest covered
Frost mass thawing at the heat of optimists
Here comes the sun
Years sung of love
Of life and limb
Of rose, white and prim
Of sows and reaps
Frozen deep within
no longer cozened seeds melting open
Within lay nature, unleashed
Sprouting beryl grass Malachite paths drawn on bosk maps
Cage like icicles, like sickles once cut short life's trickle
But now are gene pools
Puddles of life,
pull Liberty, saplings straddling limberly
Tenuous barrier between existence and imagery
Like the as between similes
Like springs of water
as wintery as congealed streams of slaughter
tepid as unsolved mystery
Or as difference between maliciously and blissfully
The division between existing free and torpidity
The branches climbing with apt timing from snows of viscidity
Shows dexterity and biogenetic flexibility
grows with celerity, submission seeks but never can it limit spring
She has declared to see rose, rows of roses, Isis of fertility
Never scared, temerity over rose timidity
Soft Persephone brought perplexity to the hardened intensity of heimal rigidity
Verdant and balanced
Between season and unseasoned
Invierno y primavera
Ceasing with reason to be
she will fall like a phoenix,
only to spring forth from moist ashes
Balanced with death's cold embrace and birth's nascent face
